You're right! This isn't a good game. No indication as to what to click / what can be clicked, squares disappearing from the progress bar and from beside the arrows without any indication as to why. I realized it was fully automatic so I tabbed out and let it run for a while, later coming back to... the main menu.
The working out how to play was always a risk going this minimal, definitely could be better with some more suggestive UI. And the lack of an end screen (returning to menu) was a time constraint choice, don’t expect anyone to play it that far through.
As for the automatic playing of it, yeah so it turns out I uploaded a test version that plays itself (was testing game duration) so that’s my bad :D
It looks like there's still not enough here to be an enjoyable game just yet. - You can start automation but can't improve it - The automation is staggered based on when you started them so everything goes off-sync, making it less efficient since they're only producing squares under certain conditions - You can waste your currency by pressing the arrows repeatedly - A display bug regarding the currency UI when moving between colors (in my case, it showed I had 1 green currency when I really had zero)

Minus the whole staggering automation thing, there's a surprisingly good framework for something that lacks text entirely
yeah the lack of any text, numbers, and even minimal symbol use was a really fun challenge to think through.
Maybe one day post-jam I’ll revisit the idea and make it a bit more enjoyable and dare I say, more complete :D

I’ve uploaded the correct version to fix this.

oh completely agree, its very much a “didn’t put enough time in, but wrapped something up for the jam end anyway” kind of project.
There’s a lot I would do differently if I put more time in, maybe I will post-jam.
But I appreciate the feedback and for playing all the same.
